What is Memora?
Memora is a time capsule. It’s not just a box for storing things. It’s a handcrafted artifact, made with care for the person, the moment, and the time.

You put inside what holds personal meaning for you. And in that moment, a fleeting instant becomes eternal.

Each capsule is designed to be part of your home interior and everyday life.

Memora is the past inside, the present outside, and the future waiting to be opened.
Our philosophy
Our capsules combine aesthetics and meaning, transforming memories into objects worthy of becoming part of your home and family history.

Each capsule is handcrafted — from the first sketch to the final detail. We select the wood, treat it, decorate it with ornaments, sometimes add engraving — and always give it a name. Because every capsule has its own character, and no two are alike.

Unlike traditional time capsules that are buried and forgotten for decades, Memora stays close. It’s not an archive. It’s an object that lives in your home and becomes a part of it.

Our capsules don’t just hold things. They preserve what can’t be seen from the outside: emotions, moments, the silence between words, the warmth of hands.

Memora is memory given a tangible, visible form. It is time you can put on your shelf.
About the founder
The author of Memora – Nikita Bokov

By education, Nikita is a mathematician and systems programmer who has worked in IT for many years — from support roles to designing large-scale information systems. Yet he has always been fascinated by what lies beyond algorithms: time, the cosmos, biographies, personal stories.

"I’ve always been curious about how time works. How we remember, how we lose memories, and how we come back to what truly matters."

His interest in futurology began in university. At one point, he came across the concept of time capsules. That’s how the idea of Memora was born — a project that combines design and the philosophy of memory. The goal was to create an object whose form speaks as loudly as content.

"Memora grew from a desire to make memory a tangible object. Not just a symbol of the past, but a part of the present. I wanted people to be able to return to themselves, to their feelings, to important moments."

In every capsule lives the very idea that started it all: to preserve not just things, but emotions. To leave behind not just a trace, but meaning.

Brand story

In 2013, Nikita Bokov, the creator of Memora, asked himself, “How can we preserve the memory of the present? How can we make sure the important things don’t just disappear?”

The first concept was ambitious: futuristic obelisks containing messages from thousands of people. Monuments of time. The idea was beautiful but far from practical.
Years later, Nikita tried creating prototypes using metal and 3D printing, but the results felt cold and lifeless. He finally settled on wood — a warm, living material — and began searching for a form that would be not just functional but also emotional.

The first capsule was made in 2022.

It wasn’t perfect, but it was alive, with its own character. It was followed by new designs, craftsmen, and materials. Gradually, the Memora style was born — a rectangular shape with rounded corners, vertically positioned, with distinctive lines and decorative elements. Not a jewelry box. Not a container. And definitely not a souvenir.

Today, Nikita continues to personally develop the designs, select patterns, approve engravings, and give each capsule its own name. It’s handmade work infused with philosophy and meaning.
