Who can read it before then?

Only Memora's keepers — the same few hands that hold the capsule itself. Your message reaches us as you wrote it, and is printed and sealed into the capsule untouched; no one else ever sees it in a form that could name you. Your email is kept for one purpose only — to return your words to you — and is stored apart from the message itself, linked by an identifier alone, so a leak of one never answers for the other.

Can I change my mind?

Before the capsule is sealed, yes — write to us and we'll withdraw your message and remove your details. Once a capsule is sealed it cannot be altered or opened before its day; that permanence is the whole point.

Who keeps the capsule safe?

Accepted Answer

This capsule belongs to Nikita Bokov, who is responsible for its safekeeping and for seeing every procedure through to the letter, from the sealing to the opening day.

Will my words ever be published?

Accepted Answer

Never in the form you wrote them — that copy is sealed in the capsule and comes back only to you. If a message ever shapes something we share, it appears only anonymously: names and details changed, nothing that could lead back to you. Anything you might recognize as your own happens only if we reach you first, and you agree.

Why write to the future?

Accepted Answer

Because the words you write today will not read the same in ten years — and neither will you. A sealed message is a meeting you make with your future self: the person you are now, speaking to the one who opens it. Time is the material here, and the waiting is what gives the words their weight.
